#1 The Black Keys | The NACC Charts for July 16, 2019

After scoring the highest debut ever on the NACC 200 last week at #2, The Black Keys finish the most immediately explosive rise to #1 the chart has experienced. In doing so, the Akron, OH duo of Patrick Auerbach and Patrick Carney end Mavis Staples’ monumental run at #1. Let’s Rock is The Black Keys’ ninth LP and is out on Auerbach’s Easy Eye Sound and Nonesuch Records.

Three albums rise into the Top 10 of the NACC 200 this week. Hot Chip jumps 13-6 in their third week on the chart. Mannequin Pussy also rises 12-8 after debuting at #12 last week. But it’s the second collaborative album from Tucson, AZ septet Calexico and Chapin, SC-native Sam Beam, who records as Iron & Wine, that enjoys the biggest climb into the Top 10 this week. The Sub Pop release, Years To Burn, rises 14-3.

Formed in Ottawa, but based in Toronto, Canadian punk trio METZ formed in 2008. They released their first of four LPs in 2012 (all on Sub Pop). Their latest effort, Automat, is a rarities collection and leaps 176-45 on the NACC 200 this week, the chart’s biggest climb.

The NACC 200’s highest debut this week comes from Minneapolis trio Night Moves. The band has released three albums on Domino Records. Their latest, Can You Really Find Me, was produced by Spoon drummer Jim Eno.
The album opens on the chart at #49.

Dev Hynes, better known as Blood Orange, has returned with his fifth LP, out on Domino Records. The English singer, songwriter, and record producer has production credits for such varying artists as Solange Knowles, Blondie, FKA Twigs, Carly Rae Jepsen, Mac Miller, and Kylie Minogue among others. His latest, Angel’s Pulse, is this week’s most-added record and should be one of next week’s biggest climbers after sneaking aboard the NACC 200 this week at #172.

“No Bullets Spent,” the lone new track on Spoon‘s upcoming greatest hits collection, Everything Hits At Once: The Best Of Spoon spends a second week at #1 on the NACC Singles Chart. George van den Broek, a 19-year-old artist from Surry who records as Yellow Days, lands this week’s most-added single with “Just When” b/w “It’s Real Love.”
