NACC 200 & Adds For April 4 Are Live!

Good Morning!
It’s Wednesday and that means it’s time for The NACC Chart Recap. Charts are posted for the week of April 4th and here are your highlights.

That battle we mentioned was brewing for #1 last week between Spoon, The ShinsReal Estate came to a head with all three lining up this week, 1-2-3. Real Estate made one of the biggest climbs to the top that we can recall, leaping 8-1 to take the crown. Congrats to the crew at Domino for the achievement. Keep your eyes pealed for next week though. We get the feeling this battle might not be over just yet.  The only new entry in the Top 10 goes to the seven-piece from Cardiff, Wales: Los Campesinos! They rise from 11-9 with their sixth release, Sick Scenes. Goldfrapp stay in our spotlight again this week. After scoring #1 Add Honors last week, they enjoy the largest climb on the NACC 200 this week, soaring from 164-20!  The highest debut of the week comes from Mount Eerie, the musical project of Phil Elverum (formerly of The Microphones). The album is a heartbreaking tribute to his wife, who passed away last July. And finally, Father John Misty has landed at #1 on the Adds Chart this week with his new album, Pure Comedy. Kudos to the crews at Sub Pop and Shine On for scoring the most adds we’ve seen so far this year.
